Credit cards · India

You already own the right card. You just swiped the wrong one.

CardVeda holds every card in your wallet, works out what each one actually pays after caps, milestone spend and forex markup, and tells you which to use before you pay.

We never ask for card details. Only the card variant.

No card number, no CVV, no expiry date, no statement uploads, and no bank login. You tell us you hold, say, an HDFC Infinia — that name is the whole of it, and we do the arithmetic from the published benefits.

The one thing it does

Seven categories. One card wins each.

Sample cards — not your wallet

Pick a category. This is the same six-card wallet every time, ranked by the same engine your dashboard runs, on the same catalog — what each card returns in rupees a month at a stated level of spend. Your own wallet will rank differently, which is the point.

Infinite

Infinia Metal Edition

Best for lounge

Unlimited Priority Pass access with no spend hurdle at all, and points worth a rupee each on the spend itself. The card below it matches the unlimited access — unlocked by ₹20,000 of spend in the month, exactly the assumption here — and costs nothing a year against ₹12,500.

Value per month

₹20,000 a month on the card

These six cards are a fixed example, not a shortlist. Open your dashboard to rank the cards you actually hold.

  • HDFC Bank Infinia Metal Editionwins₹4,666
  • Federal Bank Scapia₹4,400
  • IndusInd Bank Pinnacle₹1,983
  • Axis Bank super.money RuPay₹200
  • Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card₹200
  • HDFC Bank Millennia₹200

Computed from the catalog: after caps and minimum spends, valued in rupees rather than points. Entitlements that arrive whatever you spend — lounge visits, movie tickets, the fuel surcharge waiver — are priced from the card’s own terms at a realistic rate of use, not from the spend above.

How the numbers work

The rate on the website is not the rate you keep.

Three numbers describe every reward card, and only the third one is money. Worked through on one statement month: ₹60,000 booked through a bank travel portal on an HDFC Infinia, with reward points valued at ₹1 each, which is roughly what they fetch against a flight.

Base rewards

₹2,000

3.3% of spend

5 reward points per ₹150, the rate that applies to everything. 60,000 ÷ 150 × 5 = 2,000 points.

Accelerated rewards

₹20,000

33.3% of spend

The same spend routed through the bank’s own booking portal earns 10x. 2,000 × 10 = 20,000 points. This is the number the forums quote.

What you keep

₹17,000

28.3% of spend

Bonus points are capped at 15,000 a month. Of the 18,000 bonus points earned, 3,000 never arrive. You keep 2,000 base + 15,000 bonus.

The middle column is what gets quoted. The right column is what lands in your account. CardVeda only ever shows you the right column, and tells you the month you cross the cap.

Milestone spend

An Amex Platinum Travel turns ₹1,90,000 of annual spend into about ₹7,700 of vouchers, and ₹4,00,000 into roughly ₹11,000 more. Finish the year at ₹3,95,000 and the second one simply does not happen. We track the gap, not the total.

Forex markup

A 3.5% markup on ₹80,000 of international spend costs ₹2,800. That is more than most of these cards return in a good month, and it never appears in a rewards table. A card at 1.99% saves ₹1,208 on the same trip.

Your wallet, shared

Two people, one set of cards.

Most households swipe out of a shared pile of cards without knowing what is in it. Invite someone by email and they get a read-only view of your wallet, so the person at the counter can check which card to hand over.

One email, one invite
Type their email address. If they already use CardVeda they see your wallet immediately; if not, the invite waits for them and activates the moment they sign up.
Cards, not statements
They see which cards you hold and what each one is worth per category. They never see a transaction, a balance, a limit or a card number, because we do not hold any of those.
Revoke and it is gone
Access ends the second you revoke it. Useful when a shared wallet was for one holiday and the holiday is over.

Start with what you hold

Add your cards once. Stop guessing at the counter.

Adding four cards takes about a minute. You get a per-category ranking, the caps you are close to, and an honest read on whether the annual fee on each one is still worth paying.
